Chevy Blazer Driver Side Window Problems

I opened the window module and found that the driver s side power window switch was burned.

The rely fuse is a silver rectangle two prong fuse. My driver s side window stopped working on my 97 blazer. Is it making any noise at all when you push the button. It does go down all the way.

It s stuck in the down position. Its a pain at the drive thru. Driver side window will work when it wants. I have had the car for 3 years and have never had any issues until now.

Usually if it s the motor it will overheat and stop working partially roll down and stop then after a while it will work again and move the window another inch or two. When i roll my windows down from the driver side controller the windows come right back up.

I have to actually hold the button down for the window to stay down. If it s the switch it could partially work or not at all. Replacing the faulty window motor will commonly correct this concern. I have a 2006 chevy trailblazer.

Now it won t work at all. Or for a couple of days and then not at all. Both drivers side and passenger side windows will not go down.
